Hate being accused!

XH is not feeling too good these 2 weeks.
Breatheless, not eating well, but eats slowly. And not sleeping much :(
I think he is worried that he can't breathe if he falls asleep!

There seem like nothing I can help beside giving him attention and feeding him at short intervals.

I suspect that his heart is degenerating but the vet focused on the dent on his oesophagus instead, advising to do a CT scan. But with his weak heart, I doubt he can take any surgeries, will wait for vet's advice.

These days he got better but still not active like his usual self. And Fatty come stomping in and started accusing me of letting him die?? I have done my research and homework and gave my tender loving care every time he barks. And he blame me for doing nothing!

So who is the one doing nothing and only opening mouth?

Maldives Trip 2011

Opps, I have not updated my US Trip and here i am, off and back from Maldives!

Here's a blog post review on How to choose a Maldives Resort.

With a whole bunch of list of resorts and small atolls islands on Maldives, Which should you choose?

My top 5 Criteria:

1. Water/Ocean Villa -- Looking towards the ocean, able to look down at schools of fishes, access to the ocean would be a plus point. And a Jacuzzi or a pool is a must at the deck!
2. FOC Mineral water -- Drinks are very expensive in Maldives. In my resort, they charge USD5 for a Evian and USD4 for Soft Drinks!
3. Near to Airport -- if you are only going less than a week. Shorter transfer waiting time!
4. FOC Snorkelling gear -- I heard that some resorts charges per day!
5. House Reef -- To Snorkel as and when you wish in your resort! That's the main thing i did in Maldives!

So which Resort did i go to?

I went to Adaaran Prestige Vadoo. And yes, of course it has all the pluses listed above! It has only 50 villas, so your privacy and personal space is guaranteed. Service is excellent as well. A lot of people asked why i did not choose Club Med Kani? Well, i almost! But it has very limited Water villas (very much more expensive!) and too much people! Although there are alot of activities and yes, they are all FREE! But well, we rather laze in a nice Water/Ocean Villa and snorkel as and when for the 5 Days.

----My Trip Advisor review on Adaaran Prestige Vadoo---
We spent 5D4N at Adaaran Prestige Vadoo staying in their wonderful water villa.

Although our request made at the time of booking (adaaran's web) to have a Sunset facing room was not made available, the check in staffs were very swift in arranging that for me when i voiced it out. But i have to wait for another hour for the room to be ready. But no regrets!

Our Butler gave us a tour of the island, which is pretty small . You can finish rounding the island in less than 10 mins and yet.. you do not see much people! We were able to take many great pictures around the resort since it was not crowded!

Food is very very very good! I would recommend that Half Board ( Breakfast + dinner) is more than enough! Breakfast is ala carte ordering from the menu. .You can order as much as you can. Room service for breakfast is also possible if you arrange with your butler at no charge. Dinner is a 4 course - Appetiser, soup, Main & Dessert. The portion might look small but eventually they will fill you up! Food presentation is in fine dining style.

Accommodation wise, you get your plunge pool ( able to fit 3 pax side by side) in front, + jacuzzi (we only used it once, since it was located at the back with the bathroom) The plunge pool is great for soaking to dissipate the heat, but be careful not to get burnt! Bathroom is almost as big as your bedroom, and it even have a sofa looking down to the ocean floor below through a glass panel. Bed is comfy with lots of pillows. Internet is also available with a LAN cable. Good enough for surfing, but not for uploading of your high resolution pictures. Too bad there isn't WIFI available anywhere on the island. Free Coffee capsules (i forgot the brand) with the coffee maker + free bottles of Mineral water in room. Ask your butler to bring more if you finished them.

Cashless system around the resort. Just order anything you want and give them your room number. You will be handed a Chit to sign. Do double check as they gave me the wrong chit to sign once. These will be summed up and presented to you when you check out.

We only joined their Sunset Fishing trip on our 3rd day there. We almost did not get to go as we only have 5 pax going. Luckily the trip still went ahead and we caught 6 fishes! Only 3 are edible, so we ate them for lunch for $20 cooking fee the next day. Our 4th day Snorkelling trip wasn't too successful as there are not enough pax to get going. We are leaving on the 5th, so i suggest that you book your activities on the earlier part of your stay to avoid disappointment.

Snorkelling gears are free, and there's a house reef with many fishes at the beach. We did try snorkelling around the villas, but the fishes are more scattered. Corals are not as vibrant and alive as we hope to be, but they are good enough. Do take care not to swim too far out as the currents are quite strong! The waters are shallow above the house reefs, so i did have some concerns snorkelling over them. The corals are so clustered that i have to go a distance before i can rest my feet on bare sand.

We were lucky to catch the dolphins several times. Do keep your eyes peeled wide open on your speedboat transfers. We saw them to and fro the airport! When we were at the beach, we saw them too, heard that they would appear at around 4-5pm. Another occasion was in our Villa admiring the sunset, we saw 2 groups of dolphins!

Overall it is a good and memorable trip!

USA Here i come! Free & Easy USA! Part 1

Cost for 2 pax: Less than SGD6k inclusive of Air tickets, Day tours, Theme park entrance, Accommodation.

Packing all my Long sleeved knitted wear... Still pondering whether should i bring my winter jacket, since it is bulky. Expecting to be cold at San Francisco and Grand Canyon. Night time at LA and Vegas seemed quite cold too. If the wind blow then waaa... think my bones will rattle.. OK.. i better bring my winter jacket! Need to pack 14 days of clothes? I think i will just bring like 6 days worth of clothes, else too much luggage! Ermmm, more excuse to shop!?

Bringing 2 x 26" trolley luggages and 1x 22" trolley. Still going to bring the expandable duffle bag with wheels there too... Kiasu hor? Scare my shopping too much to bring back hahaa.. I think i am going to put the 22" and wheeled duffel into the 26"with some clothes inside the 22". then we shall check in the 2 big 26" trolley luggages. Wheee! More space for shopping! Maybe some more lesports sac inspired bags there as well for carry on!

US flights Via Cathay Pacific can only bring 2 checked luggage each not exceeding 23kg. Hmmmmmmmmm... Wonder if it is enough for my power packed luggage. Hope so!

Talking about flights. We will be having a transit at Hong Kong. Though i wanted it very much to stopover for days, but heck, we wun be able to play another round of Disneyland with all those shopping! And, no more bullets for shopping too!

My Air tickets cos me $1064 + $272 tax per ticket. Damn happy! Hehe.. I was monitoring the air ticket prices in Feb till March. They seemed to hover around 1.6k to 1.8k. Of cos there are cheap ones around 1k, but who wants to fly phillipines airline or China Eastern on a long haul flight? Though i wanna scrimp, but i need my inflight entertainment! So that narrows down to Cathay Pacific and SIA. Waited till nearer to Natas, and i asked Misa Travel and Chan Bros for Pre Natas Sale tickets. But hmm both of them give the same rates.... And when finally the pre Natas sale rates are out, Misa tell me they ran out of the cheap class tickets, and have to move me to the next one, which is like no discount. And Chan Bro tell me they have not received any discount and SIA is still 1.8k. =.="So i was feeling all blue, and.... i check 101 online air ticketing sites.. finally i landed on Zuji and they offer my cheap ticket! I was like boycotting Zuji for cathay tickets, as prior to the pre natas sale, they are selling the cathay tickets like 3-4k? or even 10k? Madd........ But i am surprised to see it so cheap. And so CLICKED! Bought! Happy!

Then i faster applied my leave. Still must make the remark "Belated Honeymoon". And my boss approved it readily and asked where am i going, and told me all the shopping places... =D

Started to plan and plan the trip by reading 101 travel sites... till i was so sick of it at a period of time. I was researching on budget accomodations like motels, backpacker inn.. but they are like almost USD80 - 100 / night. Still so exp. Lucky me... i read someone post on Priceline's name your own price deal, and i got some great bargains hehe. I thought it was not possible as i am not holding a US issued credit card. But somehow i did it!! There was a trick to bidding in order to save at least 50%... Yea.. i read damn lots of things to LEARN how to... Ask me if you wanna know how.

So my 4 star Hotel in San Fran is USD$70 per night ( yea.. it is EXP)

4 Star Hotel in Las Vegas Downtown is $39 per night ( this is from Hotwire deals.. also got trick to it)

3.5 Star Hotel in Los Angeles is $46 per night.

And all in all.. my 13 nights accommodation costed me SGD1.2k... Not too bad from my initial $1000 budget for such good hotels!

Also booked a day tour to Muir woods and a San Francisco City Tour for photo taking, Alcatraz Tour and a Sunset Walking tour to Grand Canyon! Tours are in fact very expensive.. i think all 3 costed almost SGD800 =.= Once a life time.. so.. close 1 eye lar.. cannot be everyday shopping mah!

The other killer is theme parks. Just Disneyland and Universal studios costed us like SGD600! WAT?!?! I can hear Mr Teo Screaming... Yea... abit mad right? And i did not go Sea World and the so called famous San Diego Zoo and wild park. Else it would have costed SGD1k!!! Ok, they costed so exp, cos i took a 3 day Disneyland park hopper to go Disney or cali adv park. Maybe we have some time at night to go watch disney or take some more of the rides after the day's excursion.

Then going to rent a car for 3 days in LA.. to go Dessert Hills outlets, Universal studios, Hollywood, Santa Monica, etc... Left Hand Drive... please pray for me ah!!

This morning got dragged by Mr Teo to join him for Fire Station excursion with his Little One's Club. Yawn....

The kids are adorable, not too monstrous.. It was quite fun to see the central firestation, with the demos and the singapore style pole sliding. They simply kiap with their legs and fly down, faster than the angmoh way!

After heaps of photos of the kids and etc, everyone was tired... and some kids left on their own. The bus was only half full on the way back.

Went kino to look at Jap magazines. Abit obsessed by the cute freebies they give! But then the particular freebie bag that i want was sold out... AGAIN! The last time i came was for the agnes b bag freebie lor! T.T

Went to Crystal Jade for La mian and xiao long bao. Ordered the wrong type of beef noodles. Somehow it is soaked in chili oil =.="

Then, we decided to go KPO at the citibank roadshow at ngee Ann city. Mr Teo was hungry, so he did not want to explore earlier. But we saw ice cream and popcorn there.. so we decided to walk nearer. Then, we registered ourselves and had 100 credits to play there!

Each booth cost 10 credits to play or buy food...

So... we played an SMS game.. and i WON Mr Teo hands down. I completed the sentence and he only did 3 words lor... =P Won 2 pillows.

Then he went to play the errrr hitting game? his score was only 8.. highest was 11! but he dun wan to try again. Won 5 capital land vouchers + Passport holder. Then we challenged each other in a magnet hooking thing, and Mr Teo won, a foc keychain.

Went to eat Ice cream.. yummy! I suspect its haagen dazs ice cream.. hmm had macademia nuts and wild berry flavour..

Poke poke some balloons, but the prize can only be redeemed upon signing on yet another citibank card, i already had 2, so no thanks! But its quite fun lar.. Then i did hand henna! 1st time! Foc one.. hehe..

Continued to play a jigsaw game... won a scoop of haagen dazs ice cream voucher. haiz.. i wanted dining vouchers leh! Bad luck!

Then we went for more ice cream, chocolate and mango... and we are both tired and sleepy!!

Exchanged all the rest of the credits for DONUTS! I thought it some normal donuts, but later i realised from the tissue they give, is Donut Factory!! Yumm.. got 11 donuts!

Was super duper happy with my loots and upon reaching my car.. i saw SUMMON =.= I was summoned 15 mins prior reaching my car lor.. Damn Suay.. $20 fly..

Reached Church and chop chop the donuts into 4 pc each... yummy...

My Cheapest JetStar Ticket to Phuket!

My Cheapest return JetStar Ticket to Phuket for 2 pax is only $63.96!!! I never thought this was possible.. SO cheap!

Tips to cheap Air tickets!

The trick to this ticket price is to:

1) wait for the REAL promo to come out... so, always know the current ticket price. There are alot of gimmicks that offer NO SAVINGS at all even though they say the fare is 1 cent or what! They will then jack up the price of the tax =.="

2) Go light... promo prices are only valid for jet saver tickets.. meaning only carry on baggage to the cabin! So, dun go for too long periods or places where you can shop and shop... else add on baggage $$ will not give you cheap tickets!

3) Be flexible about your dates. Keep searching around the dates you wanted. Usually promo sale tickets are only valid on certain day of the month and certain flights. Usually is a weekday, or a weekend at weird hours.

Since the promo for mine is only on tues and wed... i only fly on those dates... so you realise you can't really save your leaves to get cheap tickets! Long weekends is not possible to get cheap tickets!

Hectic Saturday..

If you think your photoshoot was tiring, how about mine with 2 extra arch enemies?

Brought my Xiao Bai & Xiao Hei for the shoot

Leon was very nice for wanting to put them into 3 of the images we are in: Greek, EG and WG

But we only used the dogs for 2 images- Greek & WG.

Our dogs are guai during the shoot.. lucky they are pre-trained to look into the camera liao haha... Just call their names and say GAI GAI ! Very soon Leon caught the trick and its easy to capture their attention.

The dreadful thing is, my dogs will bark for attention when they dun see us.. else whine.. Else the cute and innocent looking XiaoHei will attempt to bite XiaoBai, which causes the fatty bom bom to shriek and bark in horror and protest..

So paiseh...........

From 10am to 4.30pm just got indoor shooting. Woooo.. at the end of the shoot, the dogs are sleeping on the chairs liao.. So are we getting tired.. I even want to DIY take some shots outside.. but am too tired!

Talk about food, we ate nothing prior.. only XB ate his breakfast.. =.= During my Makeup with Sammi, which dragged for 2 hours, Mr Teo bought 2 baos and Milo... so i only nibbled a bit of my bao.. Scare later i look bloated.. Then during my 2nd image of EG.. i saw him eating something.. Then i ask my MUA Sammi.. is he eating my bao?!?! Then she say ya! I think so! He also making her hungry liao! -___________-"

Smuggled the dogs in for Chalet after the shoot. Lucky got beehoon and stuffs pre-prepared, so i do not have to wait for the BBQ to start.. Haha.. Fed my 1st meal of noodles and took the dogs upstairs to nap.. Stupid XH keep whining to go out throught out my nap time.. Zzz

Anyway i brought them down and get outselves fed more.. the poor dogs only have potatoes for dinner =x And then some more biting from XH which kind of freaked everyone out.. =.=

So i was the personal escort for XB, dragging him everywhere with me, and keeping him safe from XH. Have to keep them 1 leash length apart -.- How how to let them live together next time?!?!

Lack of Drummer....

I have 3 Drummers, Sam, Yini, My brother...

But Sam is my Emcee, my brother is my photographer, and Yini cannot make it..

Problem partially solved: Got a free AD photographer who have zero exp on weddings. But i like his commercial portfolio. So my brother can be drummer.. but still.. i need a main photographer as this free one dunno dependable or not! Maybe my photos will take super long to come back!

Have been checking out rates for AD... cost at least $800 for a decent one.. Aww..

Wedding Car. No wedding car suitable with driver.. maybe i will make to do with my car.. but still.. i need a DRIVER!!

How to terminate Starhub Services?

A month ago i was trying to terminate my Cable TV...

Basically.. u go skim through their WHOLE WEBSITE... nothing about termination!!

So i called the hotline.. and waited for like 30 mins.... to hear them say..

"Oh, you cannot terminate throught the phone, you must head down to our centre with the modems and etc..."

Duh.... Ok, i want to cancel my digital voice's value added services too.. please process?

"Oh, then you have to call the digital voice department.. else you can do it together at the service centre."

Fine.. ask me wait for so long to get one person answer the call, and he cannot pass the message?

Went to Service Centre... Returned the Tv Box and etc... then... Ermm can you help me cancel my digital voice value added service??

"Oh, you have to queue and take a number again..."

So i took a number and waited 30 mins.......

Yesterday went to T Dragon after work..

Haiz. .wanted to leave early from work. But i was stuck at the warehouse helping my colleague to unpack and repack stuffs for exhibition till almost 7pm!! Shucks! T dragon closes at 8pm!

The best thing is.. my nails got slight tearing at the edge. Sobz..

Anyway i quickly rush off and then.. i got caught in a jam at Keppel road.. goodness knows why is there a jam! It cleared off near CBD area... then 7plus go into Shenton Way.. got ERP! $1 gone.. nvm.. traffic is smooth.. then go to Raffles place... another ERP! another $1 gone...

Before i reached Excelsior.. Mr Teo tell me the place is packed and they ask us to return 1 hr later, they will close at 9pm. So we went for quick bite and went back to T Dragon.

Place not as packed, but there is no one to serve us. so we wait and wait and DIY get some files to view... Then 1 auntie served us.. Best thing is... we can only select from one pathetic file of wedding cards.. and we only liked 1 of it... well...

we have 140 cards for 20 tables. Did the gold hotstamping on the card itself is $146. Add one cartoon pic is $10...

wanted to go JB to print.. but then, aiyah.. do together more fuss free...

So another $156 from our wedding budget gone to the wedding cards

Lifted someone's summary of the book: This book seems not bad....

Was introduced to the book "His Needs, Her Needs" a couple of years ago. It sort of aroused my interest in books/ articles related to Relationship Management. In this book, the author Dr. Willard Harley helps couple understand why their best intentions are not enough to prevent marital incompatibility. Couples must do more than" want to meet" each other's needs. They must actually meet them! Ignorance often contributes to a couples failure to care for each other. Men tend to try to meet needs that they value and women do the same. But their needs are often very different and they waste effort trying to meet the wrong needs.

The right needs are so strong that when they're not met in marriage, people are tempted to go outside marriage to satisfy them. But aside of the risk of affair, important emotional needs should be met for the sake of care itself. Marriage is a very special relationship. Promises are made to allow a spouse the exclusive right to meet some of these important needs. When they are unmet, it is unfair to the spouse who must go through life without ethical alternatives.
The intent of the book is never, ever to critique your spouse for not fulfilling your needs, but rather to take the initiative and do your part in fulfilling your spouse’s needs. The 10 emotional needs of men and women in brief are as below:

His Needs

1) Sexual fulfillment

The typical wife doesn't understand her husband's deep need for sex anymore than the typical husband understands his wife's deep need for affection. But these two ingredients can work very closely together in a happy, fulfilled marriage. Sex can come naturally and often, if there is enough affection.

2) Recreational companionship

He needs her to be his playmate. It is not uncommon for women, when they are single, to join men in pursuing their interests. They find themselves hunting, fishing, playing football, and watching sports and movies they would never have chosen on their own.

After marriage wives often try to interest their husbands in activities more to their own liking. If their attempts fail, they may encourage their husbands to continue their recreational activities without them. But this option is very dangerous to a marriage, because men place surprising importance on having their wives as recreational companions. Among the five basic male needs, spending recreational time with his wife is second only to sex for the typical husband.

3) An attractive spouse

A man needs a wife who looks good to him. Dr. Harley states that in sexual relationships most men find it nearly impossible to appreciate a woman for her inner qualities alone--there must be more. A man's need for physical attractiveness in a mate is profound.

4) Domestic support

He needs peace and quiet. So deep is a husband's need for domestic support from his wife that he often fantasizes about how she will greet him lovingly and pleasantly at the door, about well-behaved children who likewise act glad to see him and welcome him to the comfort of a well-maintained home.

The fantasy continues as his wife urges him to sit down and relax before taking part in a tasty dinner. Later the family goes out for an evening stroll, and he returns to put the children to bed with no hassle or fuss. Then he and his wife relax, talk together, and perhaps watch a little television until they retire at a reasonable hour to love each other. Wives may chuckle at this scenario, but this vision is quite common in the fantasy lives of many men. The male need for his wife to "take care of things"--especially him--is widespread, persistent, and deep.

5) Admiration

He needs her to be proud of him. Wives need to learn how to express the admiration they already feel for their husbands instead of pressuring them to greater achievements. Honest admiration is a great motivator for men. When a woman tells a man she thinks he's wonderful, that inspires him to achieve more. He sees himself capable of handling new responsibilities and perfecting skills far above those of his present level.

If any of a spouse's five basic needs go unmet, that person becomes vulnerable to the temptation of an affair. Therefore, the best way to prevent adultery is to meet the needs of your spouse and make your marriage strong.

Her Needs

1) Affection

To most women affection symbolizes security, protection, comfort, and approval. When a husband shows his wife affection, he sends the following messages: (1) I'll take care of you and protect you; (2) I'm concerned about the problems you face, and I am with you; (3) I think you've done a good job, and I'm so proud of you.

Men need to understand how strongly women need these affirmations. For the typical wife, there can hardly be enough of them. A hug can communicate all of the affirmations of the previous paragraph. But, affection can be shown in many ways such as: kisses, cards, flowers, dinners out, opening the car door, holding hands, walks after dinner, back rubs, phone calls--there are a thousand ways to say "I love you." From a woman's point of view, affection is the essential cement of her relationship with a man.

2) Conversation

Wives need their husbands to talk to them and to listen to them; they need lots of two-way conversation. In their dating life prior to marriage, most couples spent timetime showing each other affection and talking. This shouldn't be dropped after the wedding. When two people get married, each partner has a right to expect the same loving care and attention that prevailed during courtship to continue after the wedding. The man who takes time to talk to a woman will have an inside track to her heart.

3) Honesty and Openness

A wife needs to trust her husband totally. A sense of security is the common thread woven through all of a woman's five basic needs. If a husband does not keep up honest and open communication with his wife, he undermines her trust and eventually destroys her security. To feel secure, a wife must trust her husband to give her accurate information about his past, the present, and the future. If she can't trust the signals he sends, she has no foundation on which to build a solid relationship. Instead of adjusting to him, she always feels off balance; instead of growing toward him, she grows away from him.

4) Financial Commitment

Financial commitment is a fourth need a wife experiences. She needs enough money to live comfortably: she needs financial support. No matter how successful a career a woman might have, she usually wants her husband to earn enough money to allow her to feel supported and to feel cared for.

5) Family Commitment

A wife needs her husband to be a good father and have a family commitment. The vast majority of women who get married have a powerful instinct to create a home and have children. Above all, wives want their husbands to take a leadership role in the family and to commit themselves to the moral and educational development of their children.

Can ACV help my oily scalp oily face?

I have this oily scalp prob haunting me for like 1-2 yrs? I think ever since my weight bloom this oily scalp thingy have been following me too.

My facial therapist says most prob is hormonal change, so weight gain, oily scalp, oily face o.O!

Wondering does doing scalp treatments helps?

Meanwhile i gonna try this:

For refreshing and deep cleansing face wash
Add 1 c. of ACV to basin of warm water to use as a refreshing face wash. For a steam deep cleanse, add 3 tablespoons of ACV to a pan of boiled water and lean your face over it. Cover your head with a towel for five minutes, allowing the steam to open up the pores and loosen any impurities from the skin’s surface.

Basic Balancer Toner
3 cups distilled water
1/3 cups ACV
Combine water and vinegar. Pour into a clean decorative decanter and store in the bathroom.

Vinegar light peel- many people can experience old outer skin cells that don’t peel off effectively, leaving them with dull, dry complexions. The vinegar can help with this problem: Wash your face and gently dab on acv. This will remove the outside layers of your skin. It is safer than acid peel products, but like any peel it might make you a little more sensitive to the sun.

Apple Cider Vinegar-for your hair/scalp PH balances
Dandruff and Itchy Scalp: add two teaspoons of ACV to a large glass of warm water. Lean your head over a sink and carefully pour the mixture over your entire scalp. Wrap your head in a towel for 15 minutes. Unwrap head, comb hair and then wash hair as usual. The acidic nature of ACV combined with its potent enzymes can help scalp problems such as dandruff, itchy scalp, baldness and thinning hair. Apple cider vinegar also stimulates hair follicles to encourage the growth of healthier hair.

I was planning my wedding banquet guest list with my mum. I actually have enough tables to accommodate most of my relatives, even to quite extended ones. And so, my mum started calling up and asking would they like to come... we have already have seats for them.. blahh.. and they come out with excuses like, very tiring to bring the kids out, who look after? troublesome.. bleah.. the best is.. they say if i got alot of leftover seats then ask them come to help fill the seats lor!

Wah.. specially allocated seats for them, they dunwan, but want to be treated as 3rd rate to come help fill the seats. Relatives are my priority as i had the wedding banquet for them, not for friends. So now, i can ask my friends, colleagues and whoever who wants to come now! Even my mum is abit pek chek, and says that all the relative's kids wedding she never say no nor give lame excuses lor... haiz..

Back to the verse... i can feel the wrath of God when he specially invited ppl to be with him in heaven and they dunwan... somehow humans are funny.. keep the best things for them, yet they give 101 lame excuses and somemore hurt people in the process. Like how my mum was hurt by how the relatives rejected with lame excuses.

But still, as good old faithful servants, we shall continue with the good news no matter what kind of offensive remarks or comments we get in return!

Yesterday bumped into ex church mates - TianFu & WeiWei & Debra their daughter when i was in jurong point with my parents.

The adults were talking, so we "kids" (Debra is pri 2) are idling. Suddenly Debra digged for her mum's hp and started playing with it. Then she was like paparazzi... snapping my pics... dotz..

Then later on she snapped sooooooooooooooooooo many pics of me that her mum ask her why she do that...

She say... 因为她很美。。　i was on the phone, but i still manage to catch this bit k!

Then my mum say its cos of the spotlight that was shining on me. Weiwei say kid's dun lie.. =P

Then today.. my mum was still laughing and say its because of the spotlight that Debra thought i am pretty.. @#*&@*#^$#($

But.. my tuition kids like me and also think i pretty wat! =P *blush*

Hope my coordinator's words are true that the new gowns are coming in on mid August, and he will save me those =P I think most of the Dec brides are quite kiasu and had already chosen their gowns and took their shoots!

Korea Photoshoot is on 4th - 8th November! Still thinking of extending or not .. as the admin charge for extending is a freaking $300! Taxes are estimated around $500.. and that's $800 cash gone, not counting into accomodation if we are to extend!

$300 to extend? I have been to Korea before.. but the shopping is...... WOAH! I miss the shopping there la!

Money Woes solved...

Heheee.. did a photography assignment on Sunday and i earned enough to pay for 80% of the church camp fee for 2...

Only thing is.. wanted to go church first, since the shoot was a 12.30pm.. but in the end have to reach at 10.30am prior to the party.. so =.=" I missed church.. duh.. but i expected myself to leave early also.

Anyway, my house is still very much empty! the only furnishing i have added i only a TV. =.="
Have been slogging hard after work to clean the place up.. somemore no FAN! got one miserable weak fan left by ex owner though! Every other day clean and clean.. i got no time to pack my stuffs, so my mum happily pack them for me =.= and i got alot of extra junks from her like teapot, bowls, blah blah.. lucky is all new.. Then she conveniently wheel them over when she have tuition at the same block, so i have to go then clean and unpack my stuffs..

Ok.. i know i very lazy to upload the photos here.. but they are on facebook! I will upload the house photos on blogger soon!! As soon as i get all the furnishings in =P But i am buying them very slowly..

Then i spent another $195 for applying for 3 months season parking at the open carpark 5 min work from office (Think i easily spend $100 a month on parking in underground carpark!)

Insurance 1k+... not paid yet... better go to the SAM machine to pay later.. today date due =x

I am like so much poorer! Paid 3k on credit card bills also ( half of it not i spend one, its company expenses, and i like claimed in advance)

i think 5k+ gone.. in a few days, i am back to square 1 on my savings.. the insurance is zzZzzZzz!!!

I keep thinking about money these days... even thought of cutting away the expense for church camp.. when i suddenly jolt myself awake from being tied down by the evil money...

I was contemplating of not signing up for church camp to save that $300 x 2 , and to like drive myself there in the day and back at night. I even told my mum about this and my mum is like if so near can drive in ok lor.. and then she hound me for household money =.= *faint* think i never give her for at least 2 months liao =x

Its only when i talk to someone in church and i find myself encouraging her to go for the church camp and bring her family.. when i was "awaken"

How can i scrimp on going to church camp? Especially when its in June and usually in December. Mr Teo usually is too busy to go in December. Now finally got chance and its just after his GSS Sale.. so why miss this chance?

Church camp is fun, i always dun regret going at the end of it. Yea...

But worse thing is .. my stupid insurance is too late to be changed to monthly liao.. arghhh..! So i cannot save that money to pay for church camp. *@#^%#$&@!

Haiz.. think i better be more hardworking and pack my own lunch... Eating out for lunch is waaaayyyyy too expensive and extravagrant, especially when my colleagues likes to eat at places when i have to spend at least $6 a meal.

Anyway, got ppl comment that i lost weight! Yipee! Lost weight by doing nothing! Hope i loose fats, not nutrients! =.="

Oh yar, got keys to my flat liao! Everything pretty much the same, but dustier. Realise that the study chair and the sofa is not in a very good shape as we expected. well..

Good thing is, the MBR side cabinet my dad knows how to remove. Yea..

And i think i can live with the ugly kitchen tiles..

This year had been unexceptionally HOT! Been sweating in my sleep, sweating when playing Laptop, Sweating when doing nothing.

Hate the mornings where i go to work fresh, and reach my office half drenched with sweat! And Of cos.. i spent alot money for parking my car instead of taking public transport!

Went night cycling with the youths last friday night.. one word.. SHAG.. the route was sooooo long, from changi safra to changi village. Thou still in changi, we take like 2 hrs to reach there, 15mins break? then cycle back again. Mr Teo was cursing me all the way, cos he did not want to do it, but i am like aiyah.. spent $20 to rent liao then u dunwan to go? Anyway i think once a lifetime thing, dun think he will want to do it with me again, especially on a double bike, which he says i cycle or not cycle, both no effect, not helping at all! =x

Wooo Weee..will be getting my house keys next thursday, which means i have to take another half day leave. Already took 2 days off for church camp, but haben sign up yet, cos $$$$$ =.=" Have to pay Mr Teo's Part too.. have been scrimping and saving till i fell sick =.=" Just woke up from my 7 hrs maranthon sleep. Will be going back to bed soon and rest and recover soon! So sad, din lose any weight since i was sick :S My back is breaking, nose is dropping, head is spinning and throat on fire! ARGH!

Looking forward to house collection day, and later on is all the furniture shopping and headaches! Argh.. Money! Please drop from the sky please!

Been trying to save.. but seems like for the past 2-3 months, my savings had been stagnant.

Had been buying:

1)Disney Doggie Wears... they are simply too nice to not to stock up! stocked up twice so far and i can forsee more coming. Time to go petshop and sell them!

2)Went for massaging and relax one day trip at Batam. I think i bursted around $200... will blog about it later.

3)Taiwan spree in March which just arrived, spent $400+! Dun look at me! I only spend $99 ok, the rest are my friendsssss' one. And best thing is, the pants i bought are too big, but lucky my mum can wear wear and she likes it sooo much that she ask me to buy different colour for her! My other spree clothes hmm nothing fantastic enough this time. The nice ones did not come :(

4)Car insurance $1k+

5)Credit Card bills =.=" I think i am going to cut down on F&B. Goodbye to lunch offers! Paying wedding package installments and facial installments which cost me like hmm $600+ per month =( All will end soon.... YeS!

Happy 26th Birthday to me...

How i wish things could rewind back to when i am 21st.. and so happy during my birthday. I had a big party, with my minnie mouse cake, lotsa pressies (thou i am not cheapo, but its nice to receive pressies k..)

Ok, i will make a note to prepare pressies for my friends. I am sure they would love to receive pressies, no matter the amount is big or small.

Thanks Heidi for going out shopping with me.. i bough a kimono dress =D been such a long long time since i did any shopping and bought something to wear! The last time i bought something is using the taka D&D voucher that Mr Teo won at his lucky draw.. and that was before CNY in January =( 4 months no shop ...

Anyway i enjoy going thru each and every shop and browsing here and there, since Mr Teo does not like squeezy and non air-con places, i can never shop in peace and at ease, with a grouchy and sweaty him around.

Thanks for accompanying me and going KTV.. though we only planned shopping.. and we couldn't sing most of the songs we chose =.=" Its been like that for the last few KTV session and the last one was ermmm super duper long ago like 6 mths ago!

On my actual Bdae, Mr Teo at last accompany me to Courts to try on mattress. And i am grateful for his coorporation as i cannot decide which to buy without him trying. I like firm, he like soft. If he ask me to choose i will choose firm and he will nag at me forever and ever and ever.. >.< So how can ask me to choose? Anyway i wanted to BUY and decide, but he got pissed off by the salesman, so we go home empty handed after viewing his fave samsung TVs..

No budget for fanciful dinner or celebration.. i dun dare to ask for much. Somemore, i have to force him to say Happy Birthday to me.. OH well...... haben really married already lidat... what to do.. In case you are thinking if he had ever said those 3 letter word, sweet one no.. cursing yes of cos! I was going to settle for Hor fun for my bdae dinner.. but heng he accepted my suggestion for Crabs.. yum yum.. but the crabs not cheap also.. one crab, one tofu, buns and rice is like $60+ so exp!

I din have any cakes this yr.. think my mum gave up on me.. since i spent my last few bdaes outside =( Sorry mum....... and i want CAKE! but its too late to say so now.. i was drooling at the cake i got last yr for my bdae.. $6/slice.. so exp.. din bear to part my money with it. So i went to buy sushi rolls... one box for $2+ and breakfast ham. Wanted to make salad for tml's lunch. But the pre mix salad at cold storage is so exp! And they dun sell the whole chuck of buttercup veggie..

Parents bought a roasted chix for dinner.. and i kept 1/3 of my share on the table.. my dad kept aiming at it.. but i say no! its for my lunch tml! Then i guess my mum wanted to keep that for lunch too LOL.... anyway.. i bought my bento box from daiso and other bento stuffs. Guess what? My mum took out the seaweed to eat.. and she dun remember keeping my bento stuff where!

Grrrr.. then she gimme a tupperware for my chicken. How to heat up the tupperware with the chicken in the microwave! So i ransack my whole room and cannot find.. haiz.........................

Shopping is a love and hate thing...

I LOVE online shopping to the extend that... 90% of my clothes in my wardrobe are from Taiwan sprees... i buy my bags online too... I get my gadgets online also! =.="

The most recent gadget buy was the irobot roomba and a Digital photoframe cum phone! They are great steals... let me tell you, my roomba is retailing for $800 in SG, USD300+ in US, but i got my brand new robot at USD149! Isn't it a steal? Didn't even reach SGD300 after shipping.. When i went to buy the transformer, even the salesman also wanna buy when he hear so cheap!

In case you dunno what is a roomba.. here a video. A video paints a thousand words, as well as sing a thousang song =P

The next buy was the GE Digital Photo Frame Cum phone! A digital photo frame alone costs more than SGD100.. I bought mine at USD39.90! After conversion around SGD80+ Furthermore.. it comes with a cordless phone! Good buy man! But... i have to find a local adaptor for it soon. The Transformer might be eating too much electricity hmmm...

OMG.. this phone also got video!Faintz.. the power of youtube...

OK, here comes the suay part.. it was delivered on a friday morning. And my SIL received it. My mum came home, got a little too excited with the robot and tore the packaging off. Then she try to make it work around the living room and it died very soon. Then she attempted to charge.... and i received a call from her where to find the adaptor for the plug head =.=" I sensed something very not right!!! And yes, i scream at her.. DUN PLUG IN! WAIT FOR MY TRANSFORMER!

Anyway, my worse fears are confirmed when i tried 101 ways and could not power up the charger. I even engaged online help and got a guy to come down for $10 to test my robot... and haiz.. one fuse blown. He took it home to fix and realise alot of things spoil. =.="

Ok lor.. win... So i went to register my robot and try to claim my warranty.

I LOVE IROBOT LAH!!

They are sending me a brand new charger... hee hee..

Maybe they are, after sending a story on how i cannot charge, no lights blah.. then i borrowed a charger and everything is perfect.. blah blah.. and hence i helped them to troubleshoot the charger is dead :p

Ok.. now waiting for my charger, dunno how much will it cost to ship here... think i can buy somemore stuffs from US at the time being =P

A Bad Facial Day..

Argh.. another suay post?

Went for my facial package #1 after i tried and signed with May.

The last time May did for me, although she is quite rough and like slapping me during massage, its still ok, at least i feel the extraction is not painful and i see improvements after using her recommended pdt.

Went for it, and she was busy with waxing, so another ger entertained me. I thot May will come soon, but no.. i was served by the ger all through out..

And her extraction is 101% painful. Every single extraction is pain ok! Not just those deep ones.
She din use any angles when extracting, and press the metal thingy flat on my face... then also squeeze my cheeks till i think feels quite sore to now.. i think internal orh cheh liao :(

After she did one round of my face and got to my nose, i already teared like 3 times? First time i tear during facial leh!! Usually i can take pain quite well, but not with her! Then i ask her to forget abt my nose... but she say alot of oil glands, black heads blah blah.. furthermore she uses a metal pin time to time to poke.

May the lady boss drop by to tell me she leave first.. that is when my tolerance ended and i complained that the extraction is dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmn painful! Then tear somemore till the boss also scare :p Then try to comfort me with non sensical things like today the extraction more thorough and blah..

Omg.. endured till the end feeling not too happy.

My facial only ended at 9pm? i went before 7pm lor... 2 hrs "worth" of facial.. My face was expected swollen and red like dunno what that i haiz... The ger apologise for causing pain... and tell me the swell will be ok after a few days. Wanted to take taxi home cos so ugly, but the bus came first.... then i hid from my mum for 2 days, else she will nag nag say my face ugly and say my facial blah blah..

After 6 days..... my face is pock marked.. omg.. my nice white face become dotted face. Sad.. then my mum and even dad commented abt my face and thought i had a massive pimple outbreak.. Nope! I had a massive torture done to my face!

Haiz... when will it recover?

I was quite excited at this lunch promo.. and went to Plaza singapura outlet to enjoy my lunch.
There was quite a queue forming outside as we joined the queue. Hmm... then the manager give us a "lecture" about the 1 for 1 promo. its for food items, not inclusive of drinks and desserts. So if you order 2 mains and 2 appetisers.. u get 2 appetisers free instead of 1 lunch and 1 appetisers. So after his lecture.. we all were ushered to our seats one by one and i realised that there are plenty of seats... =.="

So.. we decided to forgo our craving for their salads or fries due to the promotion and we decided to order the MOST EXP one... the Ribeye steak! And one brownie to share..

When our tenderloin came.. our jaws DROPPED! Haiz.. was expecting this:

But what we ate was... this!! Pathetically look worse than kopitiam beef steak! And the portion was like the normal portion cut into 2.. =.= See the lotus... bigger than the steak? and.. WHY IS THERE RAW LOTUS for sides? Where is my brocolli and fries? Faint... haiz..

Haiz.. Since the main course is so unappetising.. we decided to go ahead with our brownie. As least desserts they can't give anything less or replace anything right? So we called for our desserts.

Then we waited... and waited for at least 15 mins... hmmm no desserts. So we asked for it again.... and waited and waited.. like 20 mins.. still dun have. And the lunch crowd is like gone liao. I even go out and shopped one level and come back.. and the brownie not here yet =.=" I think we waited 30 mins.

So we asked for the bill... and they billed us for the brownie! We ask them to cancel the brownie, cos it seemed not coming any moment. Then after 5 mins of wait then the manager appeared and say they preparing liao... very fast.. ask us to wait a while. =.=" Then we say no.. can't wait already, already 30 mins! and our lunchtime is over =( So he say ok.. and shout to the kitchen to cancel the brownie. But he appeared a while with the brownie and shout very loudly for us to hear that "THROW THE BROWNIE AWAY, DUN WAN ALREDY. THROW THROW.."

I think i can visualise the swensens staffs happilly digging in the brownie!

Swimming..

Started to swim at IBP after i managed to find a colleague to go with me to check out the place..

Now i am bringing other colleagues there to go with me..haha! I think i am good at convincing ppl to go!

1st, the pool is not crowded on Friday nights, other days i am not sure... Then it is 1.2m deep through out! So i do not have to swim the breadth and watch out for "Traffic" anymore!!

Managed to swim 4/5 of the length in one breath last nite. Wee! The 1st time i can only swim like 1/2 the most... And i realise i need to soak inside the pool for quite sometimes before i can adjust my lungs to swim that far!

So my colleague was shivering while i attempted my aim of 4/5 of the pool length. =x

Best thing is.. we have HOT water for shower + free towels! Woot! Thanks to my Company who paid for our membership! Ok, there's foc shampoo and soap too, but i am not using that :p Still got hair dryer and tissue...

Hmmmmm .. weekly swimming.. will i slim down?? i am 48.4kg now :S SAVE ME! at least 6 kg to shed to my longish face... =x

My diamond dropping!!

Sad.

I was changing out of my sweater and my ring caught the wool... And guess what? One of the prongs holding my diamond was dislocated!! My worst fears came true!

I was always paranoid about my diamond dropping and now, though haben dropped, I am keeping it safe in my drawer. Haiz. Re setting the diamond costs 200+ zzz how how? can I upgrade?

Nope, i do not summon the dead, ghost, gods, angels, monsters, fairy whichever..

There is one thing i summon, which i would say i do no need to summon and they would come..

You may call them the white mice, or carpark aunty, or TP or Cisco, Whichever.. they sure come by and visit my car.. and write it a love note.

I wondering is it me or my car? Maybe my car is the summoner.

Today, it just summoned 2... one was the building management officer who love it sooooo much that he wanna clamp it there forever and ever.

But i managed to save my dear car from his clutches by moving it from the building area, to the roadside. Just briefly four hours later, my honey coated car summoned the dashing TP with his Police bike, to park in front of it, to write a love note.

I was informed and i quickly dash out to save my Love. And that flirty TP went over to other cars to write love note. I am fuming mad while he slowly strolled back to his bike. I told him that car is MY PROPERTY, he cannot send it any love note! He just mumbled that he have not key in.. so not really valid. ?!?!?!?! And drove off.

How can he! Play with my Car's feelings?

We shall see in a few days time, if he truely used his heart to write that love note...

I hope not!!!!!

I was looking around for it in SG, but couldn't find one that is as nice as those in TW. I did try the TW ice monster, but its just ice shavings. Then i tried Snow Frost in AMK hub. It looks like the Original Tw one.. but it doesn't taste as good. It tasted Dry and powdery? Not as succulent and juicy.

Pasta Recipe

Here's my hot hot spicy pasta recipe.. with credits to forkie the chef.

For 30-40 pax

Main Ingredients:
5 x pasta
4 x big can of pasta sauce (Pego)
3 x SinSin Chilli Sauce
1kg of Minced pork meat
1 pack of sausages
3 x big onions
5 pack of big grey prawns

1) Stir fry garlic and onions till nice smell
2) put in the mince meat and fry till cooked (1kg is alot to fry)
3) mix sauce together with chopped onions and thinly sliced sausages + the fried meat
4) keep stirring and stirring till sauce boils
5) Cook Pasta. Put 2 teaspoon of olive oil per pack of cooked pasta to prevent pasta from sticking
6) Put in prawns to boil when ready to serve
7) Serve! Yum!

Caution: Amt of chilli sauce can be lowered in case you can't take the spiciness!
Beware of sausage lips!

My ROM 121208

The eve of my ROM was pretty frantic. It was the last day of my conference exhibits and when i was already planning when i could sneak off to run some errands. But it was a busy day, as my manpower headcount shrinked from 6 to 2??!!?!?!?! So i worked till 5pm, rushed to JP to do Western union, Bought pantyhose, nail polish. Didn't have time to do manicure :(

My eyes was half closed the whole day, so i slept early and woke up at 9am. Bathed and waited for my MUA Angel to come while i surf the net and packed some of my stuffs.

Angel came around at around 10-10.30pm and i was wondering is my XB a nuisance. Nonetheless, i threw XB into the room with my dad. Lucky he stopped barking after a while. Realised my choice of space infront of the big mirror was too dark, so we moved to the window. So i was facing the window and could not see what is happening.

Before i had my false eyelashes placed on, i am thinking woah.. my eyes look kinda small eh? But after the lashes are stuck on, they amazingly enlarged! But the end lf the falsie was poking into the corner of my eye. After some adjustment it is better, but still abit prickly. But after some time, maybe i got used to that feeling and feel ok?

My face was too fleshy haiz. dunno why those fats lumped on my face after i reached 24. So much that my longish face became roundish? So fast signs of aging.. Angel wanted to do a side pony but i guess my face cmi, so we did curls. I was amazed when she took out her crimper and created curls out of it! Wow.. Very fast some more! The curler will take ages..

Finished my makeup and curls beforeo 12pm. Angel says its too early =x But being a slow poke, i only got out of the house at 1.30pm when my solemnisation is at 2.30pm?

Since i was wearing the gown, my dad took the steering wheel and he drives like a tortoise. Best part is, he ended up at Fort Canning Legends instead of ROM office! He wanted to make a detour over to the other side, but i think it will be faster if i walk over the park instead. So faster walk and walk over to the other side. Luckily we came and recee the place when we were here for verification. Else die..

Reached the office at 2.27 and got our printed slip. I passed the groom his cufflinks that i borrowed the day. He was still trying to button his sleeves when our number flashed on the screen! =.=" Went in at 2.33pm. And.. he was still trying to button his sleeves. WTH!!

I was helping him to button and we decided to ignore the sleeves and pay attention to the JP. But the JP ask us to finish buttoning. *faintz* So paiseh!! So we faster get done and over with his stupid cufflinks. Everything went on in a blur.... she was reading and asking the will you love her, blah blah blah.. of course we say yes. then we have to hold hands and look at each other and recite the vows after her. I was looking at his shirt and reciting. But when our eyes met, we bursted out Giggling and Snorting with the vows. Oh my.. And my mum was telling me not to smile at all?

Talking about my mum. Everyone went into the Solemnisation Room.. and she wait outside, say cannot go in. zZzzz She say during her days, other people cannot go in.

After everything, we took photos at the entrance of ROM. The signature show your ROM cert and smile at the entrance. I could not find the swing with the We are Married! Sign... did they shift it or demolished that? Hmmm.. The old folks were busy bored when we were cam whoring at Fort Canning Park. Luckily there was a spice garden and they were peering at the spices grown there for a while. Its so tiring climbing up the stairs at the garden to reach the little white shelter thingy, especially with my killer heels!

After like 15-20 mins at Fort Canning, we proceeded to Hort Park! Wanted to lie on the Day bed and pose.. but it was soaked wet.. Awwww... Then there was some filming going on in the simulated garden house or something and we can't go in.

In the end we hid inside an aircon room.. wooooo.. cool down already then we started our "trekking" around the park. I think we only took pictures for an hour or less? Kennon cmi already and his smile were turning into frowns and funny faces. We decided to head back to the entrance where i changed into my normal dress.

Proceeded to the Harbourcity restaurant just beside Hort Park. Well, i was the driver! Drove 2 times to pick everyone up as we nua at Starbucks, since the restaurant was not opened yet. Finally we decided to eat ala carte buffet. Food was pretty decent, but a tad too salty to our taste. But the ingredients are quite fresh. We paid around $22 -24/pax as we "upgraded" the buffet to include the peking duck and sharksfin soup. Then with credit card discount, we managed to get 1 pax foc.

Stuffed ourselves so full, after sharing like 10 over dishes! Then Kennon and his parents took a taxi home while i drove my family home. =P So that's how we parted after our ROM.

Looking forward to our Actual Wedding Day 1 year later!

Today wanted to go for a jog or walk with XB, then remembered that XB still have not cut his nails. Called Pet Station but nobody pick up the call =.=" Hence after work i walked to JP to enquire about the timings for nail cutting. Aiyo.. Still closed for CNY =.=" In the end i ended up exercising by shopping. LOL.

Walked by Joop and it got 40% off. Tried one 1 top, 1 skirt and 1 dress. The skirt was a mini skirt sorta, checked and looks quite nice. But a button dropped when i was trying on and the belt was like breaking into pieces =.=" Haiz. but in the end my size no more new piece. The sales girl keep ask me take S. Although my M size feels abit loose, but i am too lazy to queue again to try S size. =.=" So i decided to let go of the nice Skirt. I even walk one round and come back to ask if they have stock at other outlets! Lol.. OK lar, i get it. 40% storewide sale means not enough sizes, like what i am doing =P

Come home, then realised XB got his nails cut by visitors to my house?!?! One catch XB, the other cover his eyes, another cut. LOL! Ok, can bring xb to jog already!

Watched an episode of Nonya.. Think now its time to Wii Fit!

Will try the ACV diet also. Heard my uncle lost his pot belly by drinking ACV!

Conclusion:
If cancel my flat ... i will lose 5k. Next flat will need agent fees 1%, around 4k. Total lose 9k.

COV dropped from 0 - 20k max ( at least 15k savings)
Valuation still high, and currently still rising

Considering valuation stays the same, around 380k for near MRT unit
1)If COV = 0 ( Save 35k) But renovations need $$$. Minimum renovations need 30k, designer 50k

Will need at least 39k Cash for this COV = 0 flat.

2)If COV = 20k (Save 15k) for nicely renovated unit. But if still need renovations: Minimum need 40k Cash for COV & renovations (20k?) if needed.

All in all, also need at least 20k Cash for either COV or Renovations + 9k = 29k

Renovation costs are rising, raw materials rising.

On 2nd Dec, i got a summon at 6.30pm for parking at double yellow line outside my office. Haiz, at IBP, too much cars and too little carpark! My carpark no more season passes and per day is like $16 zzz..

On 4th Dec. Someone bang my back bumper.. and say his damage is more than me.. and want me to treat like nothing had happened. I insisted that he knock into me, and must at least do something. So, he bo song and say claim insurance ZzzZz...

Now is 50-50 chance that he win or i win, as he will surely twist the story. Bleah.... My damage only need $180 to fix lo! And i dun need to fix it, i can live with that!

They are not cheapo like my Msia MNC, who promised a laptop that never come till the day i left.. a $40 subscription claim for phone, no car allowance but mileage claim at some cents only..

They gimme a Black Berry.. wow.. din expect them to gimme a phone, as i am only doing marketing.. Anyway, its 2nd or 3rd hand kinda thing, but it looks fairly new, so i am quite pleased with the phone.. only that i dunno how to use! -.-"

Here's my Black Berry Pearl.. the round thingy in the joystick part can change watever colour you set, by html coding.. COOL!

Then they gimme a very thin and small notebook.. think only 12" size. Not those bulky ones hor! I was expecting a new one.. cos the 1st day the IT say the HDD crashed and he could not recover it, and he say order a new one.. but today.. he managed to gimme a 2nd hand or 3rd hand one.. well.. watever la.. the battery i tested.. last maybe 1 hr +.. hmmm was expecting longer batt life, But nevermind. The 12" screen so small till its like testing my eyesight -.-" Think i must change the fonts bigger or wat...

Best of all, i was given admin rights for the Laptop, which i can dl watever i like! Yippee.. That means i can MSN laaa... haa.. but i haben install it yet. cos got intensive 9-5 training till friday. @.@

Job Scope wise.. i would say i am like taking over work from 2 managers to relieve them.. den i need to do my work also, under another 2 managers... Wah liao.. taking work from 4 managers! Why aren't me a manager too?!?!

I am so thankful that i have my papa with me in the car..

Was driving my parents and i back home from church.. then suddenly big big rain.. traffic was soo slow. Then.. i was staring at my mirrors so that i could change lane.. but i ran over something instead! Dunno what is that, but something brown i guess.. and my whole car went BOOM and i can feel something under my seat vibrated terribly. Gosh.. for a moment i still wondering did i hit my engine or what?

Then i tried to speed up but i can only reach 60km/h and the speed is not improving no matter how i rev the engine. Then i feel my car giving weird vibration also.. >.< Pulled over at the shoulder of the expressway and my papa go down and check.. my rear right tyre pon jack!!

Haiz.. then i slowly shift my car to the middle of the chevron markings beside the filter lane in.. so that we got some space at the right side to change tyre. Lucky its just infront a few meters only, else i think my rims will be crushed..

Big rain.. so we are like sleeping in the car waiting.. but the car got heavier. =.=" Then we are procastinating whether to call the tow truck. But i had a spare tyre leh.. My dad keep insisting i got buy car insurance.. so the tow truck is foc or the mechanic can come change my tyre foc -.-" got like that so good?

Anyway, i was going to fall asleep when my dad say he go out change. I became the umbrella carrier.. Carry 2 umbrellas till my hands aching arh.. Mum continue to sleep in the car -.-" My pon jack tyre got a big hole.. dunno caused by what? And impossible to mend liao. Think maybe the tyre burst.. so my whole car seat vibrated terribly? Papa was half wet, and my jeans are half wet too, as well as hands.. Finally done.. if not for raining, i think i can do it myself haha.. But my parents dun believe i can do so.. duh..

So we set off again... And we saw... 1, 2, 3, 4 cars down the expressway PON JACK ALSO! Kaoz.. i wonder who deliberately put something on the road? Including my car.. that's 5 car pon jack together, all on the right side!!

Now i lugi a tyre.. and have to buy one liao.. Money fly!!

Day 7 of nua-ing at home

Time passes so fast. So fast 1 week had passed since my last day of work!

What have i done so far?

70% repacked my DW stuff... the rest of 30% still in the living room at at risk of being "pee-ed" at by XB.

Tuitions as usual.

Like.. did nothing much leh! Wasting my time away. I must find time to pack my room and wardrobe also!

Tomorrow will be bringing xb to trim his hair.. dunno need to bring him to the vet or not? Maybe see what the groomer say also lor.. hope he is no more itchy itchy.

Restocking for DW had been done only partially.. Only ordered shoes.. hmmm..

Heard that i had been branded as a SPY for stealing the coy's gebiz account! Siao! Gebiz account must log in with your IC and Singpass. My colleague already verified that i do not hold the other account, as she can see who has it. From the first day i left till now.. that someone is still harping over the account -.-" Verified to her that another colleague holds the account liao, then she say i am spy.. cannot be helped that she suspect. WTH! Very good imagination! Machiam someone hire me to get through the interview here and work for 1 yr then run off? LOL!

Biggest Joke of the year!!

Well, she also did not want to be in the photos when i was taking pictures with my colleagues. She din want to join the farewell lunch too. But dunno why she appeared in the end? Maybe cos she get to eat her fave cod fish ba? Anyway, she din even say byebye and silently crept off when i was soliciting for donations for my church.

I wonder since when i stepped on her tail? My colleague say should be since the day that the GM kept praising me and wanting to groom me ba? The final straw came when the GM stood on my side when she showed a month's worth of time log on my arrival to the office. Nobody wanted to issue me a warning letter, not my dept mgr, not my GM.. So she lost... and put up a smiley face at me still.. Bleah.. i hate backstabbers!

Furthermore, i dun see why she have to hide the fact that she forwarded my mails to her account one week before my last days. She still can act blur and tell me dunno why i cannot receive mails! I am ok that my mails got forwarded away, but please let me know so that i can still continue to reply emails for unfinished biz! Anyway, I am disgusted at her.. *vomits*

New office @ Jurong Pier

We finally moved from Bukit timah to Jurong Pier! Luckily we do not have to come back during the weekends to unpack.

Though Jurong Pier is an ulu place, i can reach office in 10 mins. well, 5 mins if the road is super clear and green all the way! =P But too bad, will be leaving for another coy next month !

I was there to jaga the moving... and we dragged the furnitures around for many many many times till we are happy, GM happy and everyone happy!

The super empty and big space.. waiting for furnitures to arrive! *yawns*
Furniture still MIA.. so we unpacked whatever we have first.. First department to unpack ya!
My cosy little corner... NOT! I feel like an admin sitting beside the shared printer and right at the walk way! Heng i shift my side cabinets beside, else super exposed. And more heng is, i do not have to face the corridor =.=" Table very neat now.. cos i moved most of my stuffs home already..

Well, best place i like in the office.. toilets! ahaha.. like shopping centre toilets! The trees and little fountain downstairs is nice also.. got attap hut even! Will take pics once its completed!

The Pines ROM Lunch Review

Went to Kennon's friend's ROM lunch & solemnisation @ The Pines.

We almost overslept =x It was quite early at 10am. In order not to be late and still get lost, i sat behind the bike and read the map for directions and shortcuts. With me as the "Pro" map reader, of course we reach the venue directly, no U turns or black faces.

Lucky when we reached at 10.20am, the solemnisation have not started, must be due to late birds like us.. but its very early lor!

The Garden looks ok to me, quite small. Too bad the sun was shinning too brightly, that none of the guests sat at the chairs at the garden. We all hid under the shade at the side. The dining area looks ok, like any normal function hall. Not especially stunning or nice. We had Lunch buffet, but everyone was still quite lost even though the Emcee say we can start eating. Hmmm wonder why... Even the carving station which should be the most popular, was deserted. Might be the buffet layout i guess, i almost missed the desserts station!

Food is ok, waiters, well, only around 3 was active in the function hall. So serving of drinks was quite slow. But they are quite fast to collect used plates. Each round i went, my used plate was collected :)

Though we can stay in the place till 4pm, most of us left at around noon, since there wasn't any activities going on and we all had our fill of food. It ended pretty early with lotsa food left. Well, the couple only went on stage once to do the champagne pouring. No Yum Seng nor any bridal walk in also. A very simple affair.

Usually is just throw letter and ying chou talk abit. So far.. only this job i am abit lost and confused to go or not to go?

Felt bad to leave manager in the lurch when the sales target had doubled and etc. But she herself know i am more of a marketing material than sales.. so she let me off. Haaa.. din even counter offer me! Most prob cos i say i accepted the other offer already ba?

So far.. only my IMCB job.. i was asked to rethink and to stay...maybe cos i haben found a job? Others just let me go.. cos i found a job liao?

Anyway, went to sign my offer letter today... ooh.. i love the cubicle there.. got 3 walls to stick and paste my barangs! =P Hate my open concept table here! =x

At least the stone was lifted... we were expecting my mgr to CRY.. but end up i CRY first.. she only eyes red.. DUH! Heng my colleague ran away first.. else she will also cry...

i think i will miss them alot!! =(

My first Facial!

Went for my first facial in 25 years!

So paiseh, cannot tell ppl i first time go facial la.. later they chop me.

Anyway i still ganna chopped.. =(

I used my lucky draw from NDW. $300 worth for radio frequency face lifting treatment. End up they say i no need face lifting, just facial.. then okie lor.. change lor. Then realise they change that one for me worth $180 only. Duhz..

First they remove my makeup, then put some lotion over... then some light massage of my shoulders neck and face.. quite shiok la.. But later on do EXTRACTION zz so Pain lor.. I think they did at least 50 extraction. Like every single inch got thing to extract. I was wondering is my face filled with blood! Lol..Heng never give me the mirror...

After extraction, they use something smelly to go over my face. A stick of some electronic thingy. Say will sterilise and prevent redness. Haaa.. really lor, after my facial i din see any red spots like what i will have if i squeeze pimples!

Den here come the money eating part. They suggested to use some light treatment thing to penetrate my skin using different light wavelengths. cos my inner face is dry, outer face is oily. Hmmm no idea how they use light to settle this problem. $120 =.= ZzzZz in the end nego till $90... for the light treatment machine plus 1 ampuloe. Haiz.. later i found out the light thingy is $60 and ampuole is $30!!

Anyway, since already there... do lor.. then lie there for quite sometime. Very bored as i couldn't sleep. I was wearing "goggles" but the light is still bright at my eyes. And very cold somemore.. feel like a corspe in autopsy room haha!

Then wash off ampuole, do mask and collagen on my lips. But my lips still dry today. Haiz.. the collagen no use! The mask was very cold in the cold cold room, and tingly cool. I think it should be peppermint mask or something. They put a thin piece of netting over my face then spread the mask. After lying there for ages again, i was bored till death and shuffling my feet around. Then she come and remove. Wah.. just lift the netting and all the mask residue is away! Then light massage again.. then pour remaining ampuole on my face then off i go.

Behind is abit rush.. think i overshot time by alot. 5.30pm appointment but i come out at 8pm Zzzz.. more than 2 hours of facial! supposed to be 1.5hrs. End up i din have time to go dinner before my movie.

Anyway, they hardsell me package also. But its quite cheap la.. $295 for 6x facial. Since i wanna upkeep my face abit...

Haiz.. but just checked with my fren.. she say my package not worth, cos doesnt come with ampuole!

Opps, have not been updating often about my car..

But i always update whenever i scratched it or watever..

Since last week, my steering wheel has been VIBRATING violently.. ok not very violent, but enough to make my hands numb at that vibration. Usually is after 10-15mins of driving. Dunno what's wrong!

I tried to top up the engine water.. thot the engine too hot and wanna explode.. but the situation still persists.

Since i have another 200km more to my next servicing.. i send my car for servicing! Been wanting to send to another car workshop to do.. but dunno where to go.. And.. end up i pay $467.59!!!!

Wah liao.. so exp.. sob sob.. $160 for my car battery. Cos they call me and tell me my battery weak already. Mmm i agree, cos got once the engine spluttered and din start up.. now its smooth.. Anyway the battery has been around for more than 1.5 yrs! and the person dunno tell me wat now change technology, got new battery liao..

$437-$160 = $277 for car servicing. SO EXP!But they found the problem to my vibrating steering wheel. Cos the radiator fan was knocked by something.. maybe i drove over some brick or stones and knocked it out of place? They fix it for free, as what they claimed.. And they charged $20 for tyre rotation also =.=" I dun think i asked for it! =.=

Batam Day Trip

K was clearing his leave, and so we decide to go explore Batam for the day.

Yawnz, have to reach the ferry at 8.20pm!! Earlier than work!! And Ferry tickets aren't exactly cheap either.. they cost $20 return tickets + $28 Tax! That makes $48...

Forgotten my digital camera, so i was snapping pics with my new Fish Eye 2 Camera! Its quite fun not knowing what will come out of the shots!

Its quite a rush trip, went spa, relaxed at the pool, ate A&W and Golden Prawn.. Burpz.. But we still managed to so many things! The Spa costed like less than $30 for a massage, scrub, steam and milk bath! But not as shiok as i wanted..Dropped by the hypermart to buy cheap stuffs like toothbrush? i almost drag tissues and toilet paper home!

I was still commenting that my car after 1 yr plus as a newbie driver.. i haben sent my car for dents and paint spray..

Can i eat my words?

Was having training abt shipping terms, when i need to shift my car.. we got a crammed up parking system here...

So i went.. and have to make a detour around the building to get back to the carpark... Then this stupid car was there... i sacrificed my rims and heard the scratching sound... Then i have to reverse and go again to avoid hitting kerb and going into the bushes ...

went back to the carpark.. but NO PLACE TO PARK... so i have to make another round. This time i dunwan to sacrifice my rims.. so i cut in narrower.. and reverse and go again.. but my back door din make it.. reverse and scratch, then go front scratch, reverse and scratch... ARGH!!!!

Stupid Car.. park at the edge of the right turn. As if the one way road is not narrow enough. Yeah.. its OK to park there.. but not OUT of the lot!! Idiot!! And especially at places where we need to turn!!

I was screaming and complaining to my colleague that my car door is goner... then my manager say she think she scratched the car, or her door on that silly car too =.="

After training i went down to see my car door... haiz.. a big patch and LONG patch of bronze paint marks... wondering did i leave any grey paint on that car.. but b4 i hit that car.. the car got alot of colours on the front corner bumper liao.. and it is abit loose.. NOT ME NIA!

I went down to claybar and wipe my door.. Lucky first wipe got rid of most of the paint... then you see 2 girls in skirts squatting there trying to clay bar the paint off... well, maybe 1.. i was there shrieking away i think.. the male colleagues are useless... one pair came and see and walk away, another pair also see and walk away.. i think they find us amusing to squat there.. =.="

Got rid of most... now.. it just looks like its dirty... sob sobz... i need to check did i ganna the metal.. later RUST how!!!

so.. my back aches frequently, and i dun like to type on this... even using the mouse is sianz...

Wii fit!! Keeps me fit!

Woah.. i exercised for 39 mins today! BMI is just normal, but towards underweight side. I kept my goal to lose 3 kgs! Which means my BMI will be underweight.. but who cares la...

Ok.. wat's wii fit? it looks like this: Its a balance board that can detects your weight! Wow! And also detects pressure!

1st game i tried is hula hoop.. quite fun.. twist twist ur hips.. but i think i twisted my butt instead! Opps...

Then i tried step aerobics! So fun! then jogging... not bad not bad! Hold the remote and job though, you are not allowed to bounce on the board!

Then i did yoga.. i think i dunno how to breathe arh.. but my sense of balance is not too bad! Sure try to do yoga daily.. streeeeeetcccccccchhhhhh!

Then there is the strength exercise, which helps u tone ur body. I realsie i got weak arms, cannot support my own body weight arh... hopefully can tone it up!

The balance exercise are more fun.. like games.. like walk tight rope, skiing, blah blah. But i prefer to sweat it up!

Hopefully i can reach my weight target after 2 mths! The wii fit got record daily progress and weight lor!

But burps.. today i am so full from eating at carnivore @ vivo.. now i think of meat i want PUKE!

Wah scandalous title..

I was talking to my manager, discussing about pricing.. when my GM came to our department. I thought he wanted to talk to my manager, so i step back and stopped my discussion.

Then the GM look at me and say... Christa, i like the brochures you did. Very different from other sales ppl. You must differentiate yourself from others, dun always do the same thing. Very good, blah blah blah.... Then tok crap like u can dress diff, talk diff blah blah... in the end.. he say he like the 2 brochures i did for my product. Then i think when i was on MC, i dunno how he saw those brochures anyway, and ask our admin to get a copy and file them up? Ooh..

Then just now i was busy photocopying some manuals also. And the GM peered over and ask. Another brochure? Then i say nono.. just some manuals for a new equipment we just sold. Then he say i seem to be selling alot recently.. then i say no lar no lar...

Hurhurhurhur...

Today.. dunno why the mucus all clogged in my nose.. i cannot breathe at all. Any attempts to breathe through my nose will send me choking... The mucus so much that it drips to my throat.. making my throat sore!!! I tried to eat my phlegm medicine.. and i SPLAT out half the water cos i cannot breathe halfway swallowing the medi.. =.="

oooh.. yesterday my sil brought a dog home. 3 mths old pom call honey. But we all call her 小黄妹 instead!! Haha! My brother was damn irritated by the xhm xhm... well, he should follow the tradition mah.. Then we were all teasing that he will be downstairs calling HONEY to every woman out there regardless young or old.. when he is actually calling for xhm!

I am now sitting on the Osim massage pad, and using my laptop. Heee...

Yesterday mother's day, went to Tampines Ikea. My mum can look at every single thing when our house is already fully packed! Busted $200+ there! A few dollars more and we can get the Ikea Friends card already.. wasted! Spent like 4 hours there!!

I bought a kind of platform to put my laptop on my legs. One side is cushioned, the other side hard. Its pretty good. Cost me like $25? Now my mum shall not scream that my womb will get cancer if i put my laptop on my tummy!

I also bought a new pillow... trying out those with ridges, hopw can get better support for my neck since i always sleep sideway and have stiff necks! Cost me $29!

Then i also bought some storage compartment for my wardrobe. Have not been maximising the space of my wardrobe. Cannot stand my Clothes folded and thrown inside like a mess! Bought more hangers as well!!

Today XB vomited a small heap of mashy brown stuffs which seems like his kibbles in front of my door. HENG i never step on it! Then a few hours later.. my dad say he stepped on XB's vomit in his room! =x XB! Wat's wrong with you? But u seem so fine... snatching my clothes and playing tug of war and prancing about.. =.= He keep looking at his food bowl. But i dun dare to give him food in case he will vomit again!!

As a mark of my Quarter Century age, i had a bbq for my bdae! Haiz.. now round off my age is 30 liao.. so scary.. *shrudders* So old liao!! How how how!!!

A surprise from K.. which, is not a surprise. Cos he let the cat out of the bag when he asked for my office address. Could have googled it then got surprise mah.. So i was expecting the flowers. Ha.. i even check out the website trying to think which is he sending me even before the flower arrived haha..

So we sent some "feedback" to them and here is what they replaced with a day later. So much nicer right?

See the contrast! Looks like 2 different bouquets! And i was commenting the green buds were like some veggtables and the red roses and too small and thin, not like the photos. Their replacement bouquet is sooooo nice!

Anyway, i did a long blog about my Birthday. But blogger htm have glitches and there it goes. Though some unexpected things did happen like the escapade from the Cisco Summon warden, some missing guests and lack of seats, but it is still a nice bdae gathering =) Thanks to all who helped in one way of another! Really felt like a partial queen yesterday! Heh... But.. forgotten to assign a camera man lar!!

Thinking of holding a chalet for my Quarter Century Day... wanted to gather gather with my friends..

2) Stupid angmos came over the labour day holiday and we have to entertain him

I was having a nice lunch with my classmates @ Botak Jones Clementi. Chatting the lunch hours away, and thinking of my ikoi dinner tonight with Heidi for her bdae. It seemed to be a good day.

But not so when i sent Grace back to S1.. then my mum called and said XH ran out of the house!!! Haiz. My mum din chase XH back, and she detour to go back lock the door when her attempts to recall him failed. So last place seen is at the lift lobby, we got no idea he went UP or DOWN. My Mum couldn't find him upstairs on other levels, So my brother went around with XB to search also.

I was stunned in sent my remaining friends to CELS, then i used their printer to print some flyers. Called my customer that i planned to visit but both din pick their phone. No mood to work. So i left for home. On the way home, i passed a flyer to the nearest petshop - pet station @ jurong pt. The ger just took the flyer and orh orh orh =.="Anyway, i went home put my bags, and ran around pasting notices around and asking those ah peks and aunties sitting around downstairs. Best thing is, its a rainy day. Not much ppl around. The cleaners also claim never see. One uncle even asked me got reward or not, when he saw me running around calling and squeaking the toy. He say no reward who wants to return. =.=

So from like 2-6pm, we walked around our neighbourhood, praying that he wun cross the road. Even went to the station and made a police report! K went home at around 6pm to report back to work. I went home to print more flyers. Damn shagged. Felt like sleeping and maybe will see XH when i woke. =( I posted about his running away at dog forums, and ask some dog pals to forward them around. Even msg some ppl staying around my area to help me take a look or help me paste flyers.

Oh ya, when i came home from the police station at around 6, i din find XB =.= I thot he also lost! then i see his leash was gone. And my dad's stuffs around. So i guess my dad took him out to search again. With fresh new flyers, off i go again to paste and vandalise =x Irritating!! Those flyers i put in the afternoon had already been tore down... So.. gotta paste again. I think i pasted at least 50-60 flyers around! Just my neighbourhood alone is 20 flyers... Then my dad say he think he found XH!! He saw a dog with floppy ears jumping around the living room's full length window, like very excited to see XB downstairs. So we both went over. I pressed the bell. Heard barks and whining! The whining part resembles so much like XH! I was so happy! Then after quite a while then a man open the door. I handed him the flyer and asked did he see? XB was barking away already. He say no. He had hidden his dog(s) in the room and i ask him to show me his dog. He show me a schnauzer. So i left. But i thought i heard 2 dogs barking?? Then i got a call asking for Miss Chen. O.O! I put Miss Chen as contact in the flyer! End up i feel like bashing the caller. Its from Citibank. zzZzzz

Wanted to go over to LQ's neighbourhood to paste, when my doggie pal xx volunteered to help me after her tuition. She even called another friend to help. And we went through all the levels around my blks in my neighbourhood again. They asked me not to give up and pasted notices on the ceiling in the lifts.. outside lifts, here and there! Then.. we went to disturb that unit which i thought i heard my XH whine. But xx say she thinks is a dog that whines and barks alternatively. Anyway, i din hear XH cough. So we went to the MSCP to look, when my dad say he thought he saw someone huggle a bundle which might be a dog wrapped in a towel. So we headed there and din see anyone. My mum gave XB some water downstairs.. yah.. XB was out for almost ALL the search! Poor him! Then we went to the school nearby and shouted into the fences.. dunno did he run into the school compound? then wanted to call off the search.. but xx says he might have ran further to the other side of the school. Since i have flyers left, just go over and stick lor.. So i ask my mum to bring XB home first, and we continue.

I am sooo tired wanted to give up. But they ask me not to give up. And i am glad we really went to that side to paste flyers! We finished all the flyers and XX and friend went home at around 11+ pm when K came from home to continue the search. A while later, i got a phone call! A lady say she found my dog. Then she is at Blk 656?? I din know where is that! that is like 2 neighbourhoods away! So we rushed over. My legs are almost wasted .. but still keep walking. Happy and looking forward.

Found the block. Found XH! The ladies were there with their dog as well. Apparently another friend found XH hiding in the house. I wonder how XH climbed to the 12th Floor! So the friend called the 2 sisters and they brought XH to the vet to scan the microchip. But we did not register with pet call, only with Ava, so they could not trace. Then they brought him downstairs to walk walk and look for its owner. Then it started raining again, so they took him home. At night, they wrote flyers and pasted around their neighbourhood. Lucky they decided to move out of their neighbourhood too, and saw our flyers! That is around 11.45pm ! They called us!

Hee.. so happy that XH is back. He looks tired. And he teared when we carried him home...

Today.. i woke at 8am.... But i still laze on my bed till 8.15 then i jump up and went to bathe.. came out and its already 8.30am! Grasp! Reached office at 9am =x

My nice colleague offered to treat me to nice jap food for my good sales for the last month. Hehe.. She is so nice right? Then we went to the florist and we bought flowers.. we both abit 花痴... this is the 3rd batch of flowers already! The rose was in such a lovely shade of pale and dark pink. And you can see the twirling layers of the petals! Then i bought another mango coloured one. So unique! So all in all, i spent $5, she spent 10 cents. lol... We bought 2 pink and 1 yellow roses and 3 bunch of small white flowers... hee hee..

Today i am an road idiot. First i couldn't find the caltex or shell station @ amk, those that i usually go to. End up i was on a tour around amk when my low fuel light has already been lighted up long long ago when i was at bukit timah ... duh... then finally i found and pumped... Bought 2 ferrari cars.. At first wanted to buy the black one for my friend. Cos the other day she asked me to keep a look out for it. Then the cashier say i am entitled to buy another one.. so... ok lor.. buy another one. -.-"Waste money again. Then after worship rehearsal, i was chatting with xy on the car.. that i went down the wrong route and ended up at woodlands check point. So another tour of woodlands b4 i sent her home. And... i actually couldn't find my way back to the usual route to AYE. So i took another road home via jurong town hall. I almost turned into opposite lane of the roundabout and then almost hit a cyclist down -______- No.. i am not sleepy. Just that unfamilar with the roads. And the cyclist just ride all the way across the roundabout without following the traffic rules? duh.. I was busy trying to find my way.. made me jam brake -.-

Än interesting conversation with a smoker today.

Smoker: wah.. nowadays this all kinda dirty jobs like wash plates and collect plates at hawker centres are done by china ppl.. They pay so much money come singapore to earn a miserable 6-700 bucks, thinking that it will become $30+k in China. Then become rich. But the housing and food here is so expensive.. how to send money back to china?

If count 3 meals, one meal $3.. maybe 1 day $10...

Me: So poor liao where got eat 3 meals de? The most eat 1 meal nia...

Smoker: .... They work long hours leh! How can eat only 1 meal?

Me: Then the most 2 meals? Lunch and Dinner? I dun even eat breakfast myself lor...

Smoker: They need 3 meals la! They eat simple meals leh.. not extravagant meals like yours.

Me: *looks down on chicken chop* Ok lor.. spend $300 on food lor...

Smoker: Then rent a house.. the cheapest also maybe $200. So $500 gone. Then another minimum $200 for ciggies.. Like that no more money to send back to china liao!

Me: Kaoz.. so poor liao still spend $200 on Ciggies? That's like 1/4 of their pay lor. No ciggies la.. quit smoking liao lor!

Smoker: Smoking is a must lor. After a hard day of work. And cannot quit de lor. You think you want to quit can quit? Work this kind of job and slog day and night, sure must smoke la!

Me: 1/4 of your pay leh... siao la.. So many ppl also quit liao... who says cannot quit? If really poor, of cos is quit smoking first la! Since smoking is not a neccessity and dun bring any good what.

Smoker: Where got so many ppl quit? There is still so many ppl smoking lor. You are damn ignorant. Like a frog in the well. Never look at the big picture and look at you small piece of sky and make comments like this. What one meal a day. What no need to smoke? You really no use your brains! So stupid!

Me: -______________- Like you got use your brains? You then stupid lor! Take up smoking liao then not able to quit! Totally hooked like a idiot. Watch so many discovery channel, national geographic and still dun believe the harmful effects of smoking! You are the one who is a frog in a well! You only look at things in favour of your likings!

In the end, 不欢而散...

I dun care smokers smoke or not, its their own life. They want die earlier or ganna cancer earlier is their problem. But please, do not smoke in an enclosed area with a non-smoker. Please be considerate. You dun believe that smoking brings cancer, but other ppl believe. And hallo... i study science. I study how cancer comes about through mutations and how SMOKE causes mutations! Dun try to argue with me! Tell me that so many ppl smoke also never get cancer! That shows how ignorant you are! Please have a basic level of respect. It is not as if you are going to pay for all the medical bills if your 2nd hand smoke really brings cancer to the person!

Grrrr... i feel my life getting shorter everyday. If i ganna cancer, who will pay for it?

Anticipating my Trip..

Nope, i haven't packed.

Spent the last few days spending my NTDs even b4 reaching TW.. WOah.. how did i do that?

Easy. Log on to payeasy.com.tw look at the 女人我最大 products. Register your ID, and buy it online! I got the items delivered to the nearest 7-11 to the hotel, or at least nearest to Rainbow Hotel where i know WHERE. Then pay at the 7-11. Cool right? My items are already waiting at the 7-11. Waiting for my arrival. They will be there for 7 days. Hope its a fuss free transaction!!

I ordered alot of skincare products. And gosh.. my bodyshop stuff i haben even finish! But they are old enought to be ahem.. thrown away! I think some more than 5 years *blush* So all in all i think i ordered SGD $150 worth of good reviewed products.

One good news today, I managed to secure order for 3 BSC! Woo Hoo! Maybe i can pass my probation earlier with this feat! Hohoho...

Oh i had a sucky wednesday yesterday. There was 3 traffic accidents and i was caught in 2 jams. The 1st accident was right in front of my office. One Pest buster Van turned out of the small lanes, and the front bumper is all crashed by a rubbish truck zooming pass. Haiz.. the lanes there are difficult to turn out as there are alot of bushes there to block your view. The 2nd one involved a taxi and a car. Car was crushed. Taxi was kiap under the overhanging traffic light. Dun ask me how they knock the traffic light down! In the end, a crane came to lift the traffic pole away... 3rd accident i din even see what happened. i was just stuck at the jam for 45 mins. MY LEGS ARE NUMB AND CRAMPED. And it made me late for tuition and i am super duper hungry... :(

I can't wait for TW!

Taiwan Here i come again! 31st March - 6 April 2008

Another trip to taiwan!!

Suddenly, within 1 week, i have to book my tickets and plan the trip to taiwan for my family.

Out of the Blue, K say wanna bring his parents to Taiwan and so i asked my parents too and viola.. within 24 hours, i settled the travel package to Taiwan via Misa Travel, which is apparently the cheapest.

I chose the longest... 6 day 5 nights for $729 per pax. After Taxes is $988 per pax. Sigh.. I liked the other tour packaged more, but before tax they are already 900+... too exp liao! Somemore i still wanna extend and go F&E for some shopping.

Very Crappy. I called and asked for the 29th March Departure Tour and wanted to extend 2 days. The agent told me 29th March cannot. Its the last day of the March Promo .. =.="And the tour ends at April. Then i am speechless. The April package is completely the same. I ask her to check with airline again. Then she tell me it is fully booked! Duh... Then later on then i realised no flight on that day on the website =.=" where got fully booked? Is CANNOT book!

After alot of calls here and there, in the end i settled to fly on the 31st March, Sunday, F&E for 2 days then join the tour on 1st April. And mum is upset about not having to go church in the morning. Haiz.. Flight is at 1pm. So, we can still go church, with our suitcases and all, and rush off at 10.30pm. Then the whole world will know we going holiday. So i guess we gotta miss church for 2 weeks. The original plan was to fly from sat to sat. Now it became sun to sun. So it kinda spoilt my mum's mood.

I settled my 1 week leave already. Heng never clash with the exhibitions and suppliers visits. And i think i got 13 days left of my leave. Still enough for church camp and maybe another short trip later on. I wanted to take leave for my birthday. But WHY ON EARTH MUST THE SUPPLIER COME during my birthday week! @#&$^@%!&@#

Anyway, i planned my Itinerary for the 2.5 days of F&E liao. After much changes, i guess it is settled! A bit of sight seeing and a bit of Shopping. My only worry is how to we go and meet the tour group halfway since we will not meet at the airport. Pray everything will be smooth!

An Ping Street, to the left of Yang Ming Theater. All the hottest products can be found there and the variety of toys, bags, stuffed animals and cell phone decorations is simply mind-boggling.
